Non returned electronic key fobs will result in your credit / debit card being automatically debited for the sum of £25.00 to cover the cost of a replacement fob
Once you have returned the fob back to us (undamaged) your card will be reimbursed the £25.00 immediately
The Gables Guest House will use reasonable endeavours to ensure that the services and accommodation provided are of a satisfactory standard. Furthermore, The Gables Guest House will observe all health and safety rules and regulations.
The customer will:
Pay the full amount of the cost of the services and accommodation booked, unless the booking is cancelled at least 3 days prior to the day of arrival.(By 10.00am) l
3 days notice of curtailment or change of number of nights stay is required otherwise the cost of the whole reservation becomes payable
If the booking is for a stay of a period of less than 7 days the customer will pay the full amount of the cost of the services and accommodation prior to departure.
If the booking is for a stay of a period of 7 days or more, the customer will pay the cost of services and accommodation by instalments as requested by The Gables Guest House.
Furthermore the customer will:
Take all reasonable care to avoid damaging The Gables Guest House or any fixtures, fittings or other items belonging to The Gables Guest House. In the event that the customer damages any property or any fixtures, fittings or other items belonging to The Gables Guest House, The Gables Guest House will issue an invoice to cover the cost of repair and/or replacement as appropriate together with administration costs. The amount shown on the invoice shall be final and binding.
Refrain from smoking inside The Gables Guest House and in any outside areas, which are designated as No Smoking Areas. In the event that the customer fails to abide by the prohibition against smoking, then The Gables Guest House will issue an invoice to cover the cost of repair and/or replacement as appropriate together with the amount of any loss and expense and administration costs. The amount of the invoice shall be final and binding.
Familiarise him or herself with the fire precautions as displayed on the premises.
All invoices are to be settled in full on the day upon which the invoice is issued to the customer. Time for payment shall be of the essence.
The customer must not bring any drugs (other than drugs obtained via a prescription issued by a medical practitioner) or alcoholic beverages onto the premises of The Gables Guest House.
No food is to be consumed on the premises of The Gables Guest House, unless the food has been provided by The Gables Guest House
EXCLUSION OF LIABILITY
The customer shall be responsible for the safety and security of all of his/her goods and possessions while at The Gables Guest House. The Gables Guest House will not be liable for any loss or damage to the customer's goods and possessions while at The Gables Guest House.
The Gables Guest House requires that all of its customers behave in a civilised fashion. In the event that the behaviour of any customer gives The Gables Guest House any cause for concern, or the customer is in breach of any of the terms of this contract The Gables Guest House shall in its absolute discretion be entitled to require that the offending customer leave The Gables Guest House forthwith. In such circumstances the customer shall be obliged to pay the full amount of the cost of services and accommodation for the whole of the anticipated stay at The Gables Guest House before leaving The Gables Guest House.
ARRIVALS AND DEPARTURES
Check in time will be from 4pm on the day of arrival, and your room is to be vacated by not later than 10.00am on the day of departure. Arrangements outside these timings may be possible in exceptional circumstances.
CHECK IN / CHECKOUT
You may check in from 4pm. You must checkout by 10:00. On occasions it is possible to offer assistance outside these hours. Please contact us direct.
Bookings must be cancelled not later that 3 days in advance of your arrival. In the event of a no show or a cancellation with less than 3 days notice prior to the date of arrival, an amount equivalent to 100% of the whole booking will be charged direct to your credit / debit card and no correspondence will be entered into
