The Lincoln Castle was built during the 11th century and remains open to the public as one of the biggest tourist draws of the town. The Castle is lucky enough to hold, among other things, one of the four original surviving copies of the Magna Carta. The Lincoln Cathedral stands tall amongst all of the other buildings in the area, built in the 1300s and standing at 272 feet tall.

The area of Steep Hill are known for incredible shopping in specialist shops, making shopping one of the many activities that tourists dive into when visiting the area. New retail parks continue to pop up around the city of Lincoln as the town works to attract more tourists each and every year.

Sports are a part of Lincoln, with tourists spending time at the different games of the city. Lincoln features the Lincoln City Football Club in the English Football League, as well as the Lincoln City Lady Football Club.
